Post-Op: Day 2

Juana is seriously super mom! As it turns out, Marlon stayed in the hospital today. This morning when I arrived he had a fever and his white blood cell count was elevated, so the doctor decided to keep him.

Marlon had a rough day. He has been itchy all day long (caused by a mix of a healing surgical site and the side effect of a medication). He just keeps saying, "Scratch me mom, scratch me!" And what does Juana do? She just stands there and scratches him. She never gets tired. She never complains. She just talks to him calmly and scratches away.

If there is ever a super mom award to be given, it should definitely go to Juana!

Please keep the whole family in your prayers tonight and ask God to grant them all a good, restful night of sleep.
