I have locked my keys inside my car 3 separate times in 3 days!... Is this a sign of stress? I don't feel stressed, but apparently I have too much going on to stop and think about a silly little thing like keeping up with my keys.
For those of you who are thinking that I am locking my keys into my new car that I have been fundraising for, you are sadly mistaken. I continue to car shop and test drive to no avail. In the mean time I am driving a mission car. It has been named, "the burro." Mom named it. She says it is a quote from Romancing the Stone. I haven't seen the movie, but the name stuck.
Fortunately, the burro is not very secure. Unfortunately, every man in southern Honduras now knows how to break into my car! Suffice it to say, when Honduran men see a gringa locked our of her car, they ALL come to help. Jarrod says I should lock it in my garage at night. I say, steal it if you want!
Please pray that I don't lock my keys in this car anymore... It is really starting to get on my nerves!

I'm sure it wasn't funny the first or second time, but maybe by the third time you could laugh out loud. Or scream--whichever was more appropriate for your mood. :)
Don't worry meredith, i lost my zip disk with all my graduate work on it. OUCH... there goes 4 years of my life. WHAT ARE YOU UP TO!? we miss you, but it looks as though you are kickin it. i am sure your espanol is way up to speed now and that you are sippin some sweet, sweet, coca light! Vanessa
Uh oh! Sounds like you've inherited a family trait! :)
OK, so I definitely have a visual for the #2 and #3 lockouts. Have you peeled a clear spot in the tint so you can see out while sitting up?
Mom and I bought and watched Romancing the Stone last night. The part with the little "burro" is pretty funny.
