Well I don't know if you can see it or not, but the ruler in the slide show above says that we have 12 inches of snow... needless to say we are snowed in. In the meantime, we have been busy inside. I have almost completed a scarf (not pictured because it is a gift), made peppermint bark, fudge, lemon cranberry bars, and Chai sugar cookies. There is a steady stream of coffee, cider, green tea and all other things hot. I have eaten several of mom's home cooked meals that were on my list of things to do while I has home. We've watched all five Harry Potter movies, White Christmas, and the Elf to name a few... Kelly and I have been taking turns dominating in Boggle, while David totally "owned" us, as he says, in Monopoly. Though we are stuck inside it has been a blast hanging out with my fam. Hopefully we will be able to get out soon, or no one but mom will have Christmas presents under the tree!

The weather is beautiful, the trees clothed in snow and ice and the entire landscape is eerie. The kids are having fun on snow disks and whatever they can find but there is also some hushed reverence as folks attempt to walk about. WE are stuck. There is no place that we need to go too badly and we have time to interact and watch those movies and get our Christmas projects done. I am having fun watching the hummingbirds. BUT I need to bake cookies, too. I hope that you enjoy your time with the fam. You have been missed.
